Who We Support

Missouri DeMolay

The premier fraternity for young men in Missouri — leadership learned by doing, from state conclaves to summer leadership camps.

Missouri DeMolay is a 501(c)(3) organization providing leadership and character development for young men ages 9 to 21. This youth-led, adult-advised fraternity teaches seven core values — love of parents, reverence, courtesy, comradeship, fidelity, cleanness and patriotism — through programs the members plan and run themselves.

How We Help

Missouri DeMolay was our first partner, and the relationship set the pattern for much of what followed. We support the annual State Conclave and State Convention, and we have backed the University of DeMolay leadership camps year after year — the summer week where members learn to plan, speak, lead and hand the work to whoever comes next. We also fund Conclave scholarships, produced the weekly DeMolay e-newsletter, and ran the sound and audio-visual production for Honors Night.

The chapters give at least as much as they receive. Missouri DeMolay members have organized food and supply drives for Head Start families, raised money for a local food pantry, run a regional sports tournament, and launched the DeMolay 5K Fun Run/Walk in Forest Park to benefit the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic. In 2019 the Governor joined them to mark the jurisdiction’s centennial.
