The Light Foundations Joins the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic on Fox 2

ST. LOUIS, MO- May is national Better Hearing And Speech Month and Walker Scottish Rite Clinic is working to raise awareness about their no-cost services available to parents to help detect and treat childhood speech and hearing issues.

Director Jacob Gutshall and Sheri Mistretta of the Light Foundation join FOX2 to discuss the warning signs parents should look to determine whether their child has a speech or language disorder.

About the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic

The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic, a fully integrated program of Maryville University, is committed to teaching two-through six-year-old children with speech and language disorders the communication skills necessary to succeed in school and throughout their lives. The Clinic is a charitable organization providing services to children in seven locations in St. Louis city, county and the communities of Arnold, Troy and Union, Missouri. Services are funded by corporate and foundation grants, special fundraising events and individual donations. The Clinic receives no federal funding, and families are never charged for services, regardless of financial status or insurance coverage.
