Who We Support

Maryville University

The academic home of two of the programs closest to our mission — and a partner in leadership, service and storytelling.

Maryville University of St. Louis, founded in 1872, offers more than 90 degree programs to students from 50 states and 47 countries. It is also the campus home of the Walker Scottish Rite Clinic, Kids Rock Cancer and the first University Leadership & Service Club.

How We Help

Our relationship with Maryville runs through the programs it houses. The Walker Scottish Rite Clinic gives young children free speech and language therapy on campus; Kids Rock Cancer brings board-certified music therapists to children facing cancer and sickle cell disease; and the DeMolay Leadership & Service Club, launched at Maryville in 2017, became the model for our University Leadership & Service Clubs. We underwrite scholarships for Maryville students and serve as a collaborative partner across all three.

We have also put our studio to work for the University — producing the Maryville Talks title sequence and series segments, building the virtual Go the Distance 5K around Olympian Jackie Joyner-Kersee when it could not be held in person, and creating campaign videos for Maryville’s first online giving day and its 1,000 Saints push for Kids Rock Cancer.
